Uniform Tank Fitting
When drawing from the top of the tank, use in place of conventional bulkhead tank fittings. eliminates three potential leak spots and enables the use of a single, continuous line to connect the tank’s bottom to the pump or proportioning system.

A single injection moulded device from Uniseal® products replaces conventional plumbing hardware and requires no additional parts. It was created to address a number of pipe to tank connection problems.

SETUP GUIDE FOR A UNISEAL

Application Guidelines for THE ORIGINAL UNISEAL
Cut the hole to the UNISEAL you are using’s recommended holesaw size. (See following table.) Example: 3″ Hole x 2″ UNISEAL (Holesaw).

We prefer to use fine grit sandpaper to ensure a clean cut, which is necessary for a leak-free installation. All that has to be done is the burrs.

With the flange (wide side) facing the pipe that will be placed, put the UNISEAL into the hole.

A tiny bevel on the pipe’s end will make installation easier, so make sure all burrs are eliminated.

Push the pipe through from the flange side of the uniseal after lubricating the outside with water, soap, etc. The uniseal will expand in the hole as the pipe is inserted creating the seal.

*1 Note 1 – Uniseals U025 and U0312, Uniseals U050 and U075, Uniseals U275 and U300, Uniseals U400 and U400-SDR35 require the same sizes of holes. The difference is made up in the thickness of the Sarlink 4165 rubber. Uniseals with the same hole size are interchangeable, handy if you have the smaller size and want to increase the flow.

*2 Note 2 – Always measure the Outside Diameter (O.D.) of your pipe. This is the most important size to match into the Pipe O.D. hole size of the Uniseal to create your seal.
