added to add extra cling at a rate of 500mls – 1Litre in the above. (Proportioned)

(Batch Mix) Normal operations for down stream 20:1. Rations can vary between 10:1 and 20:1 depending on surface condition and dirt present.

When mixing a house wash solution, there are several factors to consider. Below is some general information and considerations.

  1. Type of siding: Different types of siding may require different cleaning solutions. For example, delicate surfaces such as cedar or stucco may require a gentler solution, while vinyl siding may require a stronger solution to remove tough stains.
  2. Type of dirt and stains: Different types of dirt and stains may require different ratios of solutions. For example, algae, mildew, and mold may require a solution with a fungicide, sodium hypochlorite while oil and grease stains may require a degreaser.
  3. Environmental considerations: Some cleaning solutions can be harmful to plants and animals, so it’s important to choose a solution that is environmentally friendly and biodegradable. Never let runoff go down a stormwater drain.
  4. Cost: House wash solutions can range from inexpensive household cleaners to commercial-grade solutions. Consider the cost and determine what is affordable for you.
  5. Safety: Some cleaning solutions can be hazardous to handle and can cause skin irritation or respiratory problems. Choose a solution that is safe to handle and use.

Based on these factors, here are a few solutions that are commonly used for house washing:

  1. Sodium hypochlorite (bleach): This is a strong solution that is effective in removing mildew, algae, and other stains. It is generally safe to use on vinyl and other durable surfaces, but may cause damage to delicate surfaces.
  2. Sodium hydroxide (lye): This is a strong solution that is effective in removing grease, oil, and other stains. It is generally safe to use on most surfaces, but can be hazardous to handle and may cause skin irritation or respiratory problems.
  1. Vinegar: This is a mild solution that is effective in removing dirt and stains, and is safe for most surfaces. However, it may not be effective in removing tough stains, such as mold and mildew.
  1. Detergent: This is a mild solution that is effective in removing dirt and stains, and is safe for most surfaces. It is generally the most affordable solution, but may not be effective in removing tough stains.

It’s important to test any cleaning solution on a small, inconspicuous area of the house first, to ensure that it won’t damage the surface or the paint. Additionally, be sure to follow the instructions on any cleaning solution carefully, and wear protective clothing, such as gloves and goggles, when handling all solutions.
