HOUSE WASH.

House Wash is a specially formulated exterior cleaner designed for washing homes and commercial buildings. It effectively removes dirt, grime, cobwebs, insect nests, and general surface contamination from exterior walls. As a result, it delivers a cleaner, brighter finish across a wide range of building surfaces.

This product works well on multiple exterior materials. However, different surfaces require different application strengths. For example, vinyl and painted surfaces can tolerate stronger mixes, while cedar, stucco, and other delicate materials require a more controlled approach.

Directions for Use

Proportioned Mix:

• Mix 1.5 litres of House Wash with 18 litres of water
• Optionally add Sticky Blue (500ml – 1L) to increase cling and dwell time

Batch / Downstream Application:

• Standard dilution: 20:1
• Adjust between 10:1 and 20:1 depending on dirt level and surface condition

Because of this flexibility, operators can tailor the mix to suit light cleaning or heavy build-up.

Application Considerations

Before use, always assess the surface type and level of contamination. In addition, consider the type of staining present. For example, mould, algae, and mildew may require a stronger oxidising solution, while grease and oil may need a degreasing additive.

Furthermore, environmental safety is essential. Avoid allowing runoff into stormwater systems, and always choose biodegradable options where possible. Therefore, responsible application helps protect surrounding plants, animals, and water systems.

Common Active Solutions (for reference)

• Sodium hypochlorite: strong cleaning and mould removal
• Sodium hydroxide: effective for grease and heavy soils
• Detergent: general-purpose cleaning and cost-effective maintenance
• Vinegar: mild cleaning for light dirt and stains

However, all solutions should be tested on a small, inconspicuous area first. This helps prevent damage to paint or surface coatings.
